Money and Happiness !!!!!!

Are people with more money generally happier than those with less?
The answer is yes, when we are talking about having enough money to cover food and shelter. But the answer is a definite maybe when you get to middle-class earners and above. "It's going to be more important if you need money to get access to those things that meet our basic needs. Beyond that, the effect of having more money seems to be weaker. And it seems when people do increase their income and have access to more material wealth, you don't see corresponding increases in happiness. And there are lots and lots of money spent to convince us we need more and more things. And we're told pretty exactly that having those things is going to make us happier, when probably it's not going to make us that much happier.
Some of the relationship between happiness and income depends on comparisons we make with others. People who make less money than those around them may think they are less successful, and that makes them unhappier. While those who have more money than their neighbors may feel more successful and as a result, happier.
Part of the results come from the fact that we live in a material society and we all, to some degree, are going to see our financial and material success as evidence of how valuable we Are.
